This grass is high quality and durable with an overall thickness of 30mm. It is sold by the linear metre of 4m wide. Square meters and linear meters measure two very different things. The measurement in square meters conveys an object’s area, or the product of its length and width, in a single number. But linear meters convey just one dimension, which could be length, width, height or anything else therefore each unit is 4m wide by 1m (4sqm) When you add to basket, 1 unit is 4sq metres. As an example if you require an area of 6m x 4m = 24 square metres you would need to add 6 units to your basket. Click on the link below for measuring instructions.
Pile is the term for the upright blades on artificial turf. These can be cut at different heights (e.g. 40-50-60 mm). As standard, 20 mm of free pile height (the part of the synthetic grass fibre that extends above the infill) is calculated.
The pile height is usually dependent on the sub-base. If you are building on stone, you will for example need a longer pile. Each project is evaluated together with a specialist.
