Why should I choose Acme Sandstorm Tiles?
We think there are some major benefits to using reclaimed tiles. They generally look better, especially on buildings that are very old. We believe they add to the beauty of a property, often retaining its traditional look. Reclaimed tiles provide character, giving it a unique style.
Reclaimed roof tiles are also environmentally friendly. This reduces the impact of having to source new materials, and stops materials ending up as landfill.
They often end up working out as a cost effective alternative to other tiles.
There is little need to worry about maintenance issues with reclaimed tiles, as the quality is often of high standards.
About Gardiners:
Gardiners reclaimed has bricks, tiles, sandstone cobbles and setts, pavers, Indian stone/porcelain, York stone, new timber, sleepers, scaffold boards and much more.
I started the business in 1990 from my parent’s backyard, buying and selling Staffordshire Blue roof tiles. As the demand increased so did my need for space.
It wasn’t long before I had to move to a small yard which I soon outgrew and had to move to a larger yard not long after.
For the past 12 years Gardiners has been located on a one acre, hardstanding customer friendly site at Grove Road Industrial Estate.
I was constantly being asked for sleepers, scaffold boards, decking and new timber products so I decided to take the business to another level and now timber is one of our best sellers.
My team my only be small however they’re perfectly formed to handle all enquiries.
Make no mistake, Gardiners is in the business of recycling building and architectural products, therefore if we can’t help, we may know someone who can.
Let’s face it, this isn’t just environmentally sustainable, it’s eminently sensible. As they say, they just don’t build them like they used to!
If you can’t get it anywhere else, we will probably have it!
